Inclement Weather Policy

Client Safety & Weather Policy – 4 Paws Concierge

The safety of our clients, pets, and staff is our highest priority. During periods of severe or hazardous weather conditions (including but not limited to snowstorms, ice, extreme heat, flooding, hurricanes, or other dangerous conditions), 4 Paws Concierge reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel scheduled services if travel conditions are deemed unsafe.

Service Adjustments

When inclement weather occurs, the following may apply:

Walks may be shortened or converted to quick potty breaks to ensure the safety and comfort of the pets.

Visits may be delayed or adjusted based on road conditions and travel safety.

If conditions prevent safe travel, non-essential services such as routine dog walks may be cancelled or rescheduled.

Essential Pet Care

For pets requiring essential care (feeding, medication, or potty breaks), we will make every reasonable effort to reach your home. However, timing may vary due to weather and road conditions.

Extreme Temperatures

During extreme heat or cold, outdoor time may be significantly reduced to protect your pet’s health and safety.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring that walkways, driveways, and entryways are reasonably safe and accessible (cleared of snow, ice, debris, etc.). If safe access cannot be provided, the visit may be skipped and still considered billable.

Communication

Clients will be notified as soon as possible if service adjustments or cancellations are necessary due to weather conditions.

Billing

Scheduled services that are attempted but limited due to weather conditions remain fully billable. If services must be cancelled due to severe weather preventing travel, rescheduling may be offered at the discretion of 4 Paws Concierge.
